Canine Country primarily provides care for dogs, but we can also care for your cats and other small animals in the comfort of your home. We offer Dog Day Care, Dog Boarding, Dog Socialization, Behavior modification, playgroups, exercise, instructional classes & of course lots of TLC!

Canine Country was established in 2005 by Dog lover and Accredited Dog Trainer Debora Amaral with the support of her husband Mitch, and son Shawn. This is a family owned and operated business nestled on 16 acres on the east side of Truckee. Our Camp looks, feels, and is run like a super fun canine camp retreat, yet maintains a full kennel license with Nevada County animal services, and is insured by Travelers Insurance.
